DEAD WITCHES + AMNESIAK + PYROGARIC
Saturday 22nd August 2026 | Cart & Horses, Stratford
DEAD WITCHES
The brainchild of former Electric Wizard/Ramesses drummer Mark Greening, Dead Witches don’t just play doom; they orchestrate what The Obelisk calls "a panic attack happening in slow motion on another dimensional plane."
Recorded on the same antique analogue gear as the legendary Dopethrone, their sound is a "banshee wail of woeful siren song" woven through "hell-sent thunder" and "obscene amounts of fuzz." This is pure, "trad doom" unshackled from pretension—music designed to make your entire skull vibrate.
AMNESIAK
A descent into "low-end madness," Amnesiak brings a tonal mire that Musipedia of Metal describes as "ill-intentioned from the get-go." Expect a crushing, atmospheric weight that shifts between dense post-metal textures and the "abyssal plod" of classic sludge. They are the sonic equivalent of a slow-burn horror film, filling every nook and cranny of the room with a "thick-toned and grainy organic creep."
PYROGARIC
South Wales’ finest purveyors of fuzz-soaked proto-metal.
Described as the bastard offspring of Black Sabbath,
Pyrogaric pair vintage riffs with powerhouse drums and spectral, bewitching vocals.
Their live show is a cacophony of warm analogue production that moves from psychedelic atmospheres to direct, low-strung riffs that have earned them a reputation for giving audiences a healthy dose of tinnitus.
The Venue: Experience this wall of sound at the Cart & Horses—the legendary birthplace of Iron Maiden.
