The line-up of the initial installment is a real crowd pleaser, with scene stars Restless and The Long Tall Texans at the head of the cast, leading to 70% of the tickets being sold in just two days.
Like all good sequels, Raucous Records 40th Anniversary II – The Aftermath – follows the theme, but with some unexpected twists… and a whole new cast.
The Sting-Rays and The Deltas are the leading men… and woman.
It’s not the unlikely pairing that it first appears to be – the two bands topped the bill 40 years ago at London’s Klub Foot in August 1986 – with the Surfadelics and The Highliners – an equally eclectic billing.
And, in a very spooky turn of events, both bands have a Bongo in their ranks.
